Reporting Office - Superintending - Mackay

REPORTING OFFICER - MACKAY, QLD About the Position Due to increased workload within the business, we are seeking a suitable candidate who may be interested in filling the role as a Reporting Officer based at our Mackay site, QLD. As a Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Turnaround Time and Client Service with regards to the reporting superintending laboratory results. This position will be fulltime, based on a Monday to Friday basis, reporting to the Superintending Reporting Supervisor in Mackay with routine interaction with the Newcastle shipping and management team also. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform data validation, report generation/review, particularly with respect to marketing and shipping samples. Liaison with customers. Assist with sample dispatch both domestically and internationally. Assist with preparation of work instructions and labels for sampling, preparation and analysis tasks. Reporting and other daily or irregular miscellaneous validating and reporting. Assist in the laboratory or preparation when duties are completed or when short staffed and other duties as assigned by the Superintending Reporting Supervisor or Manager. Skills/Qualifications: Good Organisation and Communication Skills Ensure all priorities are met on a daily basis maximising customer satisfaction Attention to detail A strong focus on safety, quality and team work Good understanding of coal sampling & analytical testing operations 1-2 years previous experience in coal analytical or preparation laboratory environments including exposure to a wide range of coal tests and testing programs would be seen as seen as an advantage A remuneration package will be offered based on skills and experience for the role.
