Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney. D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry. D4C is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the program of works across the Southern Region. What this role will entail? Onsite Electrical construction supervisor for D4C program of works. This role will be an integral part of various project teams, owning the outcome for construction delivery of our projects. This role will focus on Electrical construction works across Networks and Treatment plants in the southern region. As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll be leading a program of works and your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to: * Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.? * HV installations * LV Installations - Switchboard replacements/ upgrades * Process upgrades, instrument, control and PLC installations * Treatment plant upgrades * Pumping station and Reservoir upgrades, pump replacements * Supervising both subcontractor and in house workforce * Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environment management.? ? * Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Construction Lead.? * Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits * Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs.? * Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to building a risk management culture.? * Select, train and develop workers and ensure the observance of safety, other work standards and fair and reasonable application of industrial agreements.? * Planning and procurement of appropriate plant, material, and resources to fulfil project requirements.?? * Manage access and movement of materials, plant, and equipment to and within the site and work area in a safe and cost-efficient manner.? * Provide positive leadership to ensure the quality and standard of workmanship performed is in accordance with the specifications and drawings.? * Ensure compliance with relevant Hold and Witness Points on Quality Assurance documentation. * Maintain diary records of actual progress including issues and usage.? * Maintain effective consultation with various stakeholders referring major issues to the Construction Lead.? * Perform all duties in accordance with D4C and Sydney Water policies, processes, systems and procedures.? * Manage and complete timesheet entries, leave applications and relevant site-based labour issues * Role is for Supervision of Electrical based projects, this at times will require Supervision of Civil and Mechanical works, with support, to ensure project outcomes are achieved. Essential Requirements: * Australian Electrical Trade Qualification. * Electrical Licence - Qualified Supervisor or Contractor. * Substantial industry experience - Industrial electrical work. * Technical competency and understanding in area of expertise. * People and Performance Management of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour. * Demonstrated leadership in health, safety and environmental management. * Current Drivers licence. * White card. Favourable: * Sydney Water or Water industry experience * High Voltage Experience * Experience with Control, Instrumentation and PLCs * Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas * ACMA Licence - Open registration * Confined Space/ WAH/ WHS Cert IV This role is important to our future growth and impact.
