Sales Director

who is not only a part of their executive leadership team but will be a key player in their strategic mission for growth.About the role:As the Sales Director, you will be an integral part of the executive leadership team, working in close collaboration with the Chief Executive, Marketing Director and Finance team to align sales strategies with our broader organisational goals. You will lead a robust team comprising 6 direct reports, including 3 Team Leaders, an Operations Manager, a Training & Development Manager, and a QA specialist, in addition to 40 indirect reports in a motivated outbound telephone sales team.A key goal is to steer their dynamic, phone-based student recruitment team towards achieving and surpassing enrolment goals for AIB's distinguished Master of Business Administration program. This pivotal role demands a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, aiming to enhance student acquisition and retention metrics.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director will lead an outbound phone-based team responsible for the acquisition and retention of students for the MBA program at AIB.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to;Drive the strategic sales plan to ensure revenue targets are met, focusing on both growth and retention within the MBA program.Develop and execute impactful sales strategies, fostering a culture of high performance and setting new benchmarks for excellence in sales.Liaise with the Marketing and Finance departments to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and financial alignment.Cultivate a high-performance culture, setting unparalleled standards within the recruitment and retention domains.Lead talent acquisition, development, and motivation within the sales team, aligning with AIB core values.Strategise and implement sales plans, aligning with marketing to maximize lead conversion.Foster a proactive sales environment, emphasizing exceptional service and a memorable prospective student experience.Who You Are:A results-driven executive with a proven track record in enhancing sales team performance.An experienced sales leader who has thrived in managing outbound phone-based or high-value call centre sales environments, preferably within fast-growing B2C contexts.A change champion, adept at navigating and thriving in dynamic settings.High level of drive, the ability to role model and champion change, and a demonstrated history of success, delivering exemplary performance that stands out in the market.Equipped with substantial knowledge of B2C and B2B selling, preferably within the higher education or long sales consideration sectors.Aligned with AIB's core values, demonstrating a strong cultural fit within our innovative and inclusive environment.A Business degree is desirable, though relevant experience is highly valued.Proficiency in standard office software and a strong grasp of Salesforce are advantageous.At AIB, they don't just offer jobs; they offer career-defining opportunities.
