Progression towards a Project Manager Projects ranging up to $70 million DDR Australia operates in Defence, State Government, Mining and Energy sectors. The DDR Australia business has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects that the business will deliver in the next 2-3 years, within Western Australia and Nationally.
THE ROLE Engage with subcontractors Plan and coordinate works, equipment and personnel Oversee procurement and subcontractor engagement Drive HSEQ and HSEQ compliance Manage RFI's, ITP's and Quality documentation Preparing and submitting progress claims Monitor project costs Coordinate direct labour workforce and sub-contractors Program and scheduling works Quantity take-offs Prepare tender submissions Undertake site inspection to ensure works are completed according to specification ABOUT YOU As a majority owned Aboriginal business this role will require an individual with a high level of cultural awareness and commitment to the businesses vision, mission and values.
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Proficiency with Microsoft project Exposure to construction industrial projects Prior exposure to Defence projects (highly desirable) Experience managing fit-out trade packages Experience in tendering and managing subcontractors Project engineering and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work Ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships Ability to self-manage own workload while working well in a team Proven problem-solving ability and can 'think outside the box' Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines Police clearance Please submit your resume today and one of our friendly recruiters will be in touch with next steps.
