Our client offers a full range of equipment, parts, service and rentals for various industry or application.

THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Manager Commercial & IT, you will work closely with departments, management, suppliers, and dealers. This position is responsible for the administration of the business' supply chain function.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES Champion a culture of zero harm, remaining updated on hazards, risks within designated areas of control and provide adequate resources for safety and strict adherence to safety management processes. Provide excellence in contracts administration by managing the company vehicle fleet 130 vehicles, managing vendors, processing new vendor on boarding requests, maintenance of PO approval, review of tenders, terms of business, annual insurance renewal process, claims. Customer satisfaction, ensuring professional image of the company is maintained, a high level of customer service is maintained and servicing all customers in a quick and efficient manner via face to face, email, or phone. Adopt a continuous improvement culture. KEY REQUIREMENTS Current, unrestricted driver's licence. Working knowledge of general purchasing practices and principles. Previous experience in selection and evaluation of suppliers. Advanced Excel skills. High attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Good organisational and time-management skills. Self-motivated and disciplined approach to work. High level of IT literacy including computerized purchasing and accounting systems. Ability to stay abreast of developments within the procurement/supply chain space and actively assess whether they can be used in our business. You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered.
