Our client has been a standout performer across the country with their public sector clients and their Qld team is an industry leader when it comes to building commercial, education and Defence projects from $1m - $40m.
They have a good mix between their own private developments and projects for third parties and this particular project is a $8m build of a new Defence facility. On this project you will join a long term Project Manager and Project Engineer and you will enjoy knowing that they have recently delivered another project for the same client.
They pride themselves on having a culture which allows people to use their own initiative and a self motivated person will definitely enjoy things and flourish.
Following on from this will be a flow on of projects from long time loyal clients.
Role:
The Site Manager has the following specific areas of responsibility:
Management of trades and subcontractors on site Coordination of all site logistics, material delivery and resource allocation Implementation of OH&S policies Ensuring adherence to plans and specifications Approval of subcontractor invoices Liaison with Project Manager to ensure budget and time constraints are met Provide leadership to the site team Long and Short term programming Person:
A stable career history within the construction industry Commercial construction experience Strong construction foreman or Site Management experience with a reputable mid tier would be an advantage The ability to work to and meet deadlines Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
