Cyber Security Senior Business Development Manager Salary $150k - $170k + Commision + Super + Corporate card! Must have permanent full work rights in Australia to apply! Go Further Thrive Together Move with Velocity Have Fun About the role Location: Melbourne (hybrid flexible working - work from home 2 days per week) Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results driven Cyber Security Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cyber security and a proven experience in sales, with a focus on cyber security solutions. The Cyber Security Senior BDM will work closely with the Sales and Security team to build go to market solutions relevant for the customer base and exceed sales targets.
The role will be based in Melbourne CBD and report to the GM Sales.Â
Responsibilities Identify & drive new business opportunities with new and existing customers including from their existing network Identify opportunities within existing customer base and support Oreta BDMs to drive opportunities to a close Exceed Sales Targets - Quarterly and Annually Run enablement sessions with the Sales Team to further their development and skills in the Cyber Security Space Ability to work independently and as part of a team Maintain customer relationships and own accountability for customer satisfaction Prepare opportunity specific proposals, scope of works & presentations Maintain an up-to-date CRM Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the cyber security segment Identify and target new business opportunities in the market Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects Collaborate with the Security team to tailor solutions to meet clients' specific security needs Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in cyber security Proven ability to sell complex / multi product solutions Proven ability to land and expand within an account Proven track record of hitting and exceeding target for extended periods of time Proven ability to work and sell across multiple decision makers and levels within an organisation Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Capacity, willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and continually improve current skills. Ability to work to deadlines in a fast pace environment Proven ability in showing initiative, excellent people skills and displays a 'can do' attitude. Full Working Rights in Australia (Permanent work rights) Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field Bachelor's degree in Cyber, Business, IT, or related field Minimum 8 years Australian sales experience Minimum 5 years Australian Cyber Security sales experience Proven experience in sales, with a focus on cyber security solutions Demonstrated history of achieving sales targets Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Experience working with a CRM (ideally Connectwise) Experience working within IT Integrators Experience selling with vendor partners Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security technologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly Desirable Experience working within IT Managed Service Providers Experience selling Cloud, Network, Analytics Experience selling across our vendor partners Telstra, Cisco, Microsoft, Google, VMware, Sentinel One, Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto Benefits and perks Salary $150k - $170k + Commision + Super + Corporate card!
