This is a standout in house role for an experienced GC. You will work autonomously in this stand-alone role. You will be involved in high level business decision making and strategy.
This is an opportunity to act as internal advisor to the leadership team of one of Australia's foremost developers with 20 years of past success under their belt.You will advise on all legal matters pertaining to the business, from legislative to contractual law matters across all divisions of the business.
The RoleThe role reports to and works very closely alongside the Founder and Managing Director of the Company.The role will see you using your significant expertise in property and contract law, to negotiate and draft both new and standard form contracts, manage major litigation and advise on claims, including those concerning customers, suppliers, competitors, and regulators.You will also interpret and provide advice on existing agreements and contracts relevant to the business, while assisting with company secretarial and corporate governance matters as required.You will be involved with group policies and procedures as they relate to business, in the form of assisting with the development, review and maintenance of same.You will bring your knowledge of Corporations, Competition and Consumer, Privacy and Industrial Relations law to this well-rounded role.You - the PersonTo be successful in this role, you will be someone who can build rapport with a variety of different people, being both internal/external customers & stakeholders.You will be someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.You will be a strong communicator with well honed negotiation and conciliation skills.You will be able to manage pressure, deadlines, and interstate travel, and be able to work in the office (with some flexibility around hours).For more information on this exceptional high-level role, please contact
