SOUTH WEST QUEENSLAND JOB DETAILS:
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a South West Queensland Hospital setting as a locum Speech Pathologist within a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians. ASAP start until 30th June 2024.
BENEFITS: ASAP start until 30th June up to $80 per hour + super able to choose preferred caseload (adult, paed or mixed) supportive, multi-disciplinary Team hospital inpatient / outpatient Work hours: 8-430pm Mon - Fri Accommodation & travel provided KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, including paediatric cases with swallowing and feeding difficulties and adults with swallowing and communication disorders. Provide care to both inpatients and outpatients, with a possibility of involvement in the emergency department for acute stroke cases. Manage a caseload that includes two dedicated rehabilitation beds, offering specialised care to patients on their journey to recovery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Allied Health Assistants. HENDERSON HEALTHCARE:
