About Us The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the Role The Policy and Projects Officer is part of a small but dedicated Strategy Branch within MCV that delivers and supports projects and strategy across the jurisdiction. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality policy, strategy and analytical products that support the delivery of strategic projects. This team forms part of the Strategy and Corporate Services Division.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Policy, this role will contribute to the successful identification and development of organisational solutions, and the implementation of strategically important initiatives and projects across MCV. This includes undertaking research, stakeholder engagement, development of policy documents, written briefings for executive staff and undertaking project management and coordination activities.

About You This role would be well suited for someone with strong MCV organisational knowledge, and experience in court operations, wanting to develop project management and policy analysis skills.
