About The Role
Evolve Scientific is seeking an experienced QC Microbiology Team Lead for our clients sterile manufacturing facility. Experience and a proven track record in sterile manufacturing with a strong testing focus is essential.
The primary purpose of the role is to lead a team of Microbiology Officers to enable operational excellence as well as fostering staff development. In addition, the QC Microbiology Team Leader will have oversight of the day-to-day microbiology quality control activities to support the safe, secure, sustainable supply of nuclear medicine.
Duties
Lead the QC microbiology team in setting team KPIs and goals via the APEA process. Oversight of QC microbiology projects to ensure department objectives are met. Manage the QC microbiology roster and appropriately allocate work tasks. Plan, coordinate and perform analytical testing of starting materials, intermediates, and API, and finished product testings. Review QC microbiology test records on all finished products. Active involvement in regulatory audits and formulating QC microbiology responses to audit findings, such as TGA, FDA and ARPANSA.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications in Microbiology or related discipline essential Experience in a sterile/GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility Experience in a Microbiologist QC role conducting testing Sound knowledge in TGA/FDA and other relevant regulatory bodies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
