Facilities is responsible for the delivery of a range of administrative and facilities services which support the day-to-day operations of the department.
In performing these functions, Facilities aims to ensure the department meets its corporate governance obligations and contributes effectively to the Whole-of-Government agenda.

As a Senior Facilities Officer you will:
• Develop and foster strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the department, when required, on various Whole-of-Government bodies, committees and working parties related to facility and fleet management activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge, understanding and application of Commonwealth and State Government agreements, legislation, standards, corporate service management systems, practices, principles, and protocols.
• Contribute to the Facilities team day-to-day operations including triaging requests, ensuring workloads are equitably and uniformly distributed through the Facilities inbox and key stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately.
• Contribute to business operations in consultation with team members and contribute to forward planning on key accountabilities regarding leasing, QFleet activities and requests for major works in regional offices giving consideration to budget constraints and key stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to strategic assessment and critical analysis of options for key Facilities functions including carparking fleet management, minor/major works requests and leasing decisions.
• Co-ordinate office floor plans and team co-location options in collaboration with the ICT team and other key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team with the Manager - Facilities and other team members to provide high quality client services and facilities assistance across the department.
