The Salvation Army offers the opportunity to use your professional skills and expertise to make a real difference in the lives of people who need help most.About the roleWe are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Store Manager to manage the operation and function of the Busselton Thrift Shop!The role will be responsible for ensuring the maximisation of sales and productivity to deliver the surplus to support Corps activities. You will successfully Maximise sales and revenue through the processing of donations to the store by receiving, sorting, pricing, hanging of saleable goods and disposal of non-saleable goodsImplement stock and mannequin rotation as well as stock management processes to ensure optimal store stock levels are maintained to maximise sales and revenueDeliver excellence in customer service by responding to customer needs and training staff in best practice customer serviceImplement appropriate retail sales opportunities internally and externally to maximise sales including in-store promotionsEnsure the recruitment, maintenance, and direction of volunteers, employees, and/or Day Supervisors to ensure the store runs efficientlyManage store financial processes including completion of daily cash reconciliation, preparation of cash floats and bankingThis is a permanent full-time position based at Busselton Thrift Shop, WA.The ideal candidate would have2+ years of demonstrated and relevant retail industry, and/or customer service experienceExperience in retail management is desirableDemonstrated skills and experience in cash handling, financial management and team leadershipA current Driver's LicenceA willingness to undergo a National Police CheckWhat we offerFlexible working conditionsEmployee Assistance Program - Independent confidential counselling serviceFinancial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefitsDiscounted health and fitness programs through Fitness PassportUp to 8 weeks leave per year through our purchase leave schemeGenerous Parental Leave offering of 12 weeksUp to 5 days paid leave per year to support a TSA program or activityAn inclusive culture of dedicated, passionate, and professional team membersPositively supporting and impacting the lives of others through your career contribution
