Financial Reporting AccountantThe Financial Reporting Accountant role is a key role within Tibra's global Finance function and will work primarily on annual financial reporting deliverables across Tibra group entities, working closely with the external auditors Tibra's Finance function is responsible for the daily, monthly and periodic processing for all revenue and expenses. In addition the Finance function is responsible for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts for the Tibra Group as well as aspects of Payroll. Tibra's Finance function also looks after shareholder matters for the Tibra Group and as well as direct and indirect tax reporting. The Finance function provides all the financial accounting and management accounting services for the Tibra Group. This role is a 5 month fixed term contract. Requirements Depending on experience and qualifications, the Financial Accountant role within Tibra can be expected to be involved in the following key activities: • Delivery of pre-year end activities, including roll-forward and finalization of pro-forma accounts. • Preparation technical accounting memos on key financial reporting and audit areas • Development of audit timeline and work allocation across Finance team in conjunction with auditors • Preparation of financial statements for all subsidiaries with reporting obligations • Work closely with the auditors to ensure a timely and seamless audit process with no surprises • Provide regular updates to management on audit progress • Draft necessary board documents for annual financial reports • Draft accounting memos required for audit purposes ensuring review and sign off by internal stakeholders. • Other adhoc finance tasks including preparation of reconciliations, drafting policies and procedures, adhoc analysis • Liaising with Finance staff in various regions to ensure Group Processes are followed • Liaising with non-financial staff and effectively handle any queries Key skills & attributes • Strong financial reporting skills • Strong project management skills • A broad understanding of financial markets and products • Ability to work in a time-pressured and dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy and concentration • Excellent time management skills • Strong interpersonal andmunication skills essential for dealing with staff and issues at all levels • Excellent written and verbalmunication skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent knowledge of Excel, databases and query functionality • Familiarity with SQL a benefit • Visual Basic skills preferred but not essential • Ability to think laterally Experience & Qualifications: • CA / CPA qualified • Big 4 audit experience • Financial reporting experience in financial services desirable • Understanding of the financial markets and products traded within them • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn new software applications and accounting software • Knowledge of Netsuite accounting system an advantage Benefits Opportunity to actively support charitable causes through our Foundation Weekly massages Group fitness classes/ personal training Healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks provided daily Working with smart, passionate and driven people every day Job ID 3D3FD2DDDF
