Job Description:Your new roleWe are seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our Canberra Defence Support Team. You will provide providing both technical expertise and leadership within our Microsoft silo. You'll have the opportunity to work closely within an experienced team, gaining expertise in various applications, including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe products (AEM).Clear and concise communication skills, engagement, negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving high customer service levels are essential for success in this position.This role is based in onsite in Canberra, ACT. There is also a rotating on-call roster.Your skills and experienceLead and manage the support, configuration, and enhancement of various Microsoft platforms, with a strong focus on SharePoint, Dynamics, and related applications.Assume a leadership role, either as a technical lead or team lead, providing direction and mentorship to junior staff and driving team performance.Be a key participant in on-call rotations, addressing complex issues to maintain service continuity.Oversee and contribute to the strategic planning and execution of system maintenance, upgrades, and improvements.Foster a culture of excellence in documentation, ensuring all processes and configurations are meticulously recorded and maintained.Manage and coordinate application changes, including but not limited to routine changes, application patching and incident driven e-change requests.Due to the nature of the role, you hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) Australian Government security clearance.DXC Culture & BenefitsDXC Technology is dedicated to 'putting its people first'.
