This also means we are often faced with challenging situations and it's due to the diversity of our people and the feeling of empowerment they have to speak up and be part of a solution that we can overcome them.We're nimble and responsive, creating opportunities for our great people to realise their career goals, or simply be part of a great team where they belong.Key Responsibilities Ensure all deliveries are made in correct manner and time frame and monitor driver creditsMaintain vehicles ensuring services are carried out when and as requiredUndertake staff evaluation, recruitment and trainingFollow company procedures relating to any issues raised regarding driversEnsure wages, budgets and freight charges are kept within guidelinesInvolve and receive feedback from supervisors daily/ongoingCo-ordinate effective and efficient routing of all trucks and staff to ensure maximum delivery and serviceRegular discussion with Sales Representatives in regards to customer requirements and driver feedbackAttend daily credit meeting. Identify credits, daily collection of invoice to be presented Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in people managementThe ability to communicate at all levelsAbility to work under pressure with good time management skillsBe a problem solver externally and internallyKnowledge of the food service industryPossess AFM accreditationA solid knowledge of HACCP and OH & S regulations including BFM legislationSound knowledge of routing systems and MFG PROGood product knowledge and new customersMR/HR truck licence is preferred What PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
