You have the responsibility the project and management reporting of the Australian operation (Engineering Consultancy with 50-100 employees) of Genesis, supporting the local management team and group reporting requirement.General responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Oversight of financial reporting aspects including working closely with operations management who have responsibility for resource management and execution performance of Genesis projects Set up new projects (short term consulting scopes) in Oracle ERP system and monitor progress, maintain forecast to complete and support invoicing to Clients Update project costs to include 'actuals' and reconcile to financial system monthly Submit cost report to Project Manager and Head of Country to be able to reviewed and update forecast Provide financial and commercial input for business development, strategy, and planning initiatives Provide input into annual operational budget preparation and monitoring Manage inter-company cross charging and reporting requirements Maintain awareness of, and compliance with, the Management System Policies and Procedures for financial reporting and internal controls The Skills and Experience Needed to Succeed: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Commercial or Accounting Understanding of the principles of cost control, forecasting and project reporting Experience with Oracle ERP (preferred) Proficient MS Excel, knowledge of Power BI Strong oral and written communications skills.
