Due to growth within our Defence product segment, we have a new opportunity for a Protective Security Manager  to join our Defence Programmes Group. This career opportunity can be based  in Brisbane, Kings Park (Sydney), Adelaide  or Melbourne . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Performing the Chief Security Officer (CSO) function for the company as defined by the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF). Providing Security advice, education and ensuring the appropriate application of Security practices and processes within the Penske Australia & New Zealand business. Implementation and maintenance of protective security measures for our business, comprising Physical, Personnel, Governance, and Information and Cyber Security, including areas formally accredited by the Defence Security & Vetting Service (DS&VS). Development and delivery of policy and procedures to ensure all activities in relation to Defence have undertaken the necessary checks. Management of Penske's national security clearance process and ensure appropriate controls, compliance and audit requirements are in place as required by DISP. Maintain a Facility Security Register, consistent with DS&VS requirements. Support the coordination and management of security measures for the protection of assets within the area/facility, based on the conduct of the security risk assessments. About you You should have post-graduate qualifications (Diploma or higher) in Security Risk Management. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of security requirements within a Defence environment, including an understanding of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF). Able to implement, support and influence a security culture by raising security awareness among staff and modelling behaviours that demonstrate Company values. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working within a Defence security environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an Australian Government Security Clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) level or above. Why choose Team Penske?
