Contract Duration: 6-8 monthsImmediate StartAre you a seasoned property management professional with a track record of success in leading and optimizing property portfolios? Do you possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop high-level strategic plans and policies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Asset and Accommodation Planning Consultant on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of the Department's statewide property portfolio.

Coordinate and provide authoritative policy advice on the operations of the Department's property assets and commercial leasing strategies, including the development of relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Negotiate and prepare commercial lease agreements for Department property, including office accommodation, residential, and operational facilities.

Plan and organise the Department's business planning processes to maximise the performance and delivery of asset management and accommodation outcomes.

Provide high-level strategic and operational advice to the Manager, Asset Management and Accommodation Planning, and other stakeholders on the appropriate use of Department property assets and commercial accommodation.

Provide high-level support in the development and maintenance of the asset management information system, ensuring all asset information is accurately captured, complete, and up-to-date.

Develop reporting frameworks that provide effective asset management and accommodation reporting to internal and external clients.

Represent the Department in meetings with Government and non-Government organisations in relation to accommodation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.

Extensive experience in property management, including the development and implementation of property portfolios and commercial leasing strategies.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare and review commercial lease agreements.

Proven ability to lead strategic planning processes and develop high-level policies and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management and stakeholders.

Experience in asset management information systems and reporting frameworks.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project demands and deadlines.

Prior experience in a governmental or similar setting is desirable.
