About The Role
As an experienced Electronic Engineer, this role will see you get your hands dirty on multiple projects, whilst building the electronic capability of a previously highly mechanical product business.
You will initially be the sole Firmware/Hardware Engineer building on top of the work of existing products and interfacing with external mechanical and hardware development groups to build out the product suite significantly.
This is an exciting and challenging role which will provide exposure to a large breadth of engineering disciplines and is not for the faint hearted!
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electronics preferred. Mechatronics and/or Computer Science considered Ability to work autonomously and self-driven for outcomes Ability to interface with customers to provide technical support as and when required Experience with end-to-end product development in the electronic space
Software Experience Required
Experience using Zephyr and/or Nordic BLE platforms would be nice to have but not critical. Software architectural experience Embedded C/C++ development experience Experience working with GIT version control systems Proven experience in application development, preferably in Flutter or similar Familiarity or working knowledge of CANBUS, J1939 and NMEA2000
Electronics Experience Required
Hands on experience with validation and troubleshooting, including the use of lab equipment, such as MSO's or similar Working knowledge of electronics Ability to understand and contribute to design and schematics
