We are One Peninsula Health.What You Will Be Doing The Senior Clinical Psychologist Educator - Mental Health will be an integral member of the education and clinical leadership team within Mental Health's Learning Hub. This is a new initiative, and an exciting opportunity, to establish a supervision, education and support program that provides newly qualified psychologists with the opportunity to undertake their registrar program within public mental health and gain crucial experience working with people experiencing severe and enduing mental illness.We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide individual and group supervision, education around psychological practice competencies and to provide general support to the registrars as they gain experience of working in public mental health through undertaking 6-monthly rotations across different teams within the service. This is a specialised role focused on meeting the needs of the newly funded Psychology Registrar Program and will incorporate planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of this initiative. You will be supported by the Discipline Seniors for Psychology in Mental Health and the Head of Psychology.This position is funded for three years by the Victorian Department of Health and Wellbeing to assist in the development and implementation of a new Clinical Psychology and Neuro-Psychology Registrar program, aligned to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Public Mental Health Services recommendations.
