The successful candidate will provide an efficient, courteous, and accurate bookings and inquiry service to all hirers of GRC venues and facilities, ensuring excellence in customer service. This role will: Receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries for all GRC venues and facilities.Assist the Senior Programming and Booking Officer to manage the booking schedules for all GRC venues and facilities.Assist the Coordinator Programming and Operations in generating and promoting (marketing activities) awareness of the range of venues and facilities in the council area which are available for hire.Book, plan and arrange all requirements for events/bookings.Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal staff and stakeholders.Maintain client and supplier information for Council's records and databases to ensure accuracy and legislative compliance.Provide excellent service and advice to internal and external customers.Conduct site/venue inspections with clients.Administrative duties and support including records management, invoicing, event and financial reporting.Record and distribute minutes and prepare agendas for team meetings.Manage multiple projects at the one time. Selection Criteria:Qualifications, Certificates & Licences Current Class C NSW Driver's Licence Essential Previous experience in a sales or sales support role.Demonstrated strong communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and manage difficult situations.Ability to provide excellent customer service.Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, databases and venue booking software.High level written comprehension skills.Experience in providing customer-focused services to a range of event organisers and other stakeholders in a variety of venues.Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritise workloads and multiple deadlines.Understanding and demonstrated commitment to Workplace Health and Safety and Risk Management. Desirable Criteria Experience in the entertainment, events industry or sport and recreation industry.Experience with the "Bookable" venue booking software program.Knowledge of local government policies and procedures.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card.
