We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.About the roleReporting to the Senior Finance Business Analyst you will provide specialist financial and commercial decision making support & analysis and formulate reports and recommendations in order to drive better business performances across Child Youth and Family programs.This is a permanent full time role, location flexible.  We are committed to our employees having access to a COVID safe office environment while enabling flexible work options.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct company analyses in order to formulate reports, recommendations, historical analyses and trend forecastsProviding objective and relevant market analysis and modelling to support the development of budgets and business plansDeveloping and delivering customised client reporting in accordance with contractual requirementsProviding commercial decision making supportAnalysing, evaluating and reporting on the commercial viability of various business proposalsDeveloping and initiating measurable improvements to work processesImplement and embed all Corporate Services & Finance systems, processes and procedures into core business activityCoordinate forecasting and budgeting processes based on performance reports and other internal and external factors by staying abreast of industry developments and changesAdvise on the financial implications of management decisions, ensuring decisions and proposed activities are commercially responsible and financially soundConsistently apply LWB financial and accounting principles, procedures and practices.Support the financial accounting and corporate support teams in implementing process change and improvement initiatives Skills & ExperienceTertiary level qualifications in Finance or Accounting disciplineMember of CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalentDemonstrated application of commercial acumenExperience in a Business Analysis positionAbility to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities and offer commercial judgmentsBusiness partnering skillsReporting and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience in building strong internal relationshipsProblem solving skillsProficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).BenefitsJoin one of Australia's largest social purpose organisationsGreat salary packaging benefits and monthly rostered days offFast paced technical environment
