The OpportunityUnlock the doors to groundbreaking research as a Research Fellow at the Monash University Faculty of Science, nestled within the vibrant School of Mathematics—one of the largest and most dynamic among our five Schools.A Level A Research Fellow is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the University and to develop their research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to the particular field of research. In particular, the successful applicant will work within the Monash Discrete Mathematics Research group, and will perform research on the topic of graph product structure theory, as specified in the 2024 ARC Discovery Project led by Professor David Wood. The main tasks are the discovery of new mathematical results in this field, and writing up these discoveries in research papers for scholarly publication.Diversity is one of our greatest strengths at Monash.
