Fernhill is seeking a live in rider with a strong background in showjumping or eventing. Fernhill is the home of Australian Showjumping Champion Tom McDermott. It is a full time time position for an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced horse person riding thoroughbreds and showjumpers. Other general duties include feeding, rugging, picking up, paddock checks etc. This is NOT a job for beginner riders.Pastoral Award rate depending on age. We provide accommodation, food, share staff car and wifi. Backpackers are encouraged to apply but you must have a current visa and speak reasonable English and understand and follow instructions in English. We have a team of 8 people that live on the farm.
