After enabling JavaScript, you will need to close and re-open this browser window. $91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% superannuationSydney CBD - NSW The RoleJoint Transition Authority (JTA) Transition Coaching and Support (TCS) is seeking a Regional Lead (APS 6 level) based in the Sydney region. The Regional Lead oversees the delivery of the needs based Defence Force Transition Program across 5 locations in NSW. The Regional Lead is responsible for leading a team of APS, ADF and contracted staff across multiple military bases to provide transition and career coaching services to ADF members and their families.Responsibilities include staff management, public speaking, stakeholder engagement and conducting transition coaching with ADF members and their families (inclusive of clients with complex circumstances). Liaison with key stakeholders including ADF members and their families and Military Commanders is a key role of the position. The position reports to the Assistant Director of Transition Operations.About our TeamThe Joint Transition Authority delivers the Defence Force Transition Program, designed to support ADF members and their families plan for civilian life after leaving Defence. Participation in the transition process is mandatory for all ADF members regardless of the reason for leaving. The Defence Force Transition Program provides access to specialist advice, paid leave and training. Access to the needs based program is supported by a Transition Coach.Our Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for this role would possess: Demonstrated experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, including staff development and performance management.Experience in case management, life/career coaching or similar.A proven ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally, both in person and using digital platforms. This role also involves presenting at events and stakeholder management.Willingness to undertake further training as required.Have experience or knowledge regarding the programs and services offered by the Joint Transition Authority Ex-Military personnel with a minimum of 4 years of service (with the last day of service being no more than 5 years prior) who have training and/or experience in building and leading teams and organisational skills are also encouraged to apply.
