Advertised Vacancy Number IPS/SS883772Appointment PoolDonnybrook District High School (DHS) is seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2025.Suitable applicants will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community. You should model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use good interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively in a team environment with administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.You may aid other members of the school administration and student services team with maintaining school databases, records, and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date, whilst upholding confidentiality and security of sensitive material. The successful applicant will display a focus on teamwork, self-motivation and model effective student, customer and administrative support service delivery.Suitable applicants should possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will ideally have strong organisational skills and be able to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a sometimes challenging and fast paced environment.Donnybrook DHS is a combined school (Kindergarten to Year 10) situated on two sites that lie 1.5 kilometres apart. Donnybrook DHS services the communities of Donnybrook, Kirup and Balingup. District High Schools are truly distinctive learning environments that have the potential to offer both Primary and Secondary students an array of opportunities that develop them academically, socially and emotionally.To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria): Experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.Experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.Ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.Good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
