We are mission focused, agile and take innovation seriously.ResponsibilitiesDevelop modular, readable and robust code for defence systems adhering to security and functional requirements in Python and Typescript/React.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, systems engineering, agile development, review, testing, integration, and verification.Presenting design details during customer reviews.Collaborate effectively with both software and other engineering disciplines as well as management, to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements as efficiently as possible.Write and maintain both internal and deliverable documentation, either directly or through supervision of contractors.Provide Engineering support to manufacturing as required.Participate in demo activities for the purpose of sharing knowledge.Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.What you'll bring To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role.Experience developing in python.Experience designing and implementing front end software using Typescript or Javascript, and React.Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, adhering to development processes.Excellent computer skills.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Desirable RequirementsExperience with Docker.Experience with python for emulation.Experience with python for complex applications.Experience with python for system verification scripting.About usL3Harris is dedicated to recruiting and developing diverse, high-performing talent who are passionate about what they do.
