Senior Full-Stack Developer for an Entertainment Tech Startup in Sydney, Australia (Looking for European profiles to relocate to Sydney, Australia) About Our Client Our client is a startup that provides real time nightlife updates across Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong and Canberra. They provide real-time intel on venue vibes, wait times, and exclusive offers, guiding their clients to unforgettable nights out. Join their passionate team and help them amplify the Sydney scene! About the Role Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to lead their web app development and evolve it into a mobile app. They are also seeking someone with expertise in large language models and API integrations, to generate value from their large database and improve their operational efficiency. Your job responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end components of our client's web and mobile applications Work with React for front-end development and Firebase for back-end services for their web app Integrate APIs from services like Twilio and Zapier to enhance app and operational functionality Contribute to the development of internal Chat GPT models and language processing features. Build and implement automation strategies to improve operational efficiency Collaborate with the team to transition the web app into a mobile platform Understand and align development with the unique needs of the nightlife industry and user More information Permanent full-time position Start date: ASAP Office location: co-working space in Sydney (2-3 days per week) Working arrangement: hybrid Open to profiles anywhere from Australia OR international profiles with an eligible Australian working visa Requirements About You 5-10 years of experience in full stack development, especially with React and Firebase. Experienced with web app and mobile app development Experienced in Chat GPT, language models, and AI technologies Familiarity with API integrations and third-party services (Twilio, Zapier) Prior experience or interest in the startup environment Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Strong passion for and understanding of the entertainment sector
