That's who we are. That's Target. What will you do? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Assistant in Apparel and Soft Home. You will support in setting up and speccing up artworks for production. If you have a keen eye for design and enjoy working alongside with likeminded creatives, then apply here. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Update artwork specs as required for all Departments• Upload artwork specs to GBSS for all Departments• Liaise with Apparel Designers for new artwork, as well as colour changes• Develop yardages as requested by Designer• Work within parameters of Target IP requirements by researching as required and saving a record of all work with relevant research to server• Liaise with factories for graded art/spec requirements• Accountable for a safe workplace by identifying and reporting safety concerns and leading by example by maintaining a safe working environment and demonstrating safe working behaviour What are we looking for? To be successful in this role: • Relevant Tertiary qualification• 1-2 years of experience in graphic/textile design• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, in particular Illustrator and Photoshop• Competency with Microsoft Office• Work well in a fast-paced environment• Open to feedback in relation to work, and approaches feedback with a growth mindset • Attention to detail• Understanding of our customer• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines• Ability to build strong working relationships to achieve objectives• Ability to communicate in an open and clear way• Resilient, adaptable and self-aware • Strong eye for detail and creative flair Also required is a portfolio of your design work.
