The Project The Midland Station (Cale Street) Project is being delivered by Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) comprising of Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA), MCD, Georgiou Group Pty Limited, BG&E and Arcadis. The project involves the design and construction of a new Midland Train station and associated rail infrastructure. The project also includes the construction of a new Multi Story Car Park, Driver Sign on Building, New Bus Interchange, Roads and Principal Shared Path. After more than 50 years, the Midland Station will have a new home bringing it closer to the heart of the Midland Town Centre. The new station location will improve connections to Midland Gate Shopping Centre and Midland Health Campus, while maintaining the railway's central role to enhance work opportunities and community life in the area. The Role: A key member of our Engineering & Systems team, the Senior Quality Engineer will play an important role to implement, maintain, monitor compliance, and seek improvement of the Project Quality Management System and systems for data, document, and record management. You will take complete accountability to monitor, verify and report project delivery compliance records with Client requirements; and ensure project personnel are appropriately trained in applicable quality and project systems. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in WA Other Responsibilities Contribute to the development of, and drive implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan and assist in the development of other project management plans Monitor Nonconformance reporting process for trends and be involved in the investigation of significant NCR Identify, assess, and control risks to project quality of product Ensure appropriate Quality requirements are included in project delivery documentation including subcontractor and supplier packages Maintaining registers (Samples, NCR, INR's, Audit Schedules) and hard-copy records Review subcontractor/supplier quality systems Compile and maintain quality and Sample records Coordinate on-site quality assurance and control activities Report on quality-related matters, including preparation of monthly summary reports About you Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Science, or equivalent industry experience Solid and demonstrated experience in Quality Engineering or Quality and Completions roles Demonstrated capability in delivering quality management outcomes in a rail or transport infrastructure environment will be highly desirable Experience as a Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems with integrated (Safety, Health, and Environmental) management system auditor capabilities will be highly desirable Proven experience working to tight time frames in a changing environment and ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations Outcome-focused, hands-on, and operational, with good technical capability Self-motivated and possessing good planning skills demonstrating high attention to detail Don't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
