The City Development, Municipal Building Surveyors and City Strategy Departments consist of Planning, Building, Planning Compliance, Vegetation, Environmental Planning, City Strategy, Urban Design and Development Engineering Services. The roleWe are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Planning and Place Administration team. Reporting to the Coordinator Planning and Place Administration, your role is to: Provide "first-line" reception to customers, screen and take accurate details of the phone calls and enquiries for the City Development, Municipal Building Surveyors and City Strategy DepartmentsProvide a variety of administration functionsMaintain positive and cooperative working relationships with other work teams to ensure effective linkages that support continuous improvement of services provided to customers About youWe are looking for someone with: Knowledge of the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987, the Subdivision Act 1988 and/or the Building Act 1983, Building Regulations 2006 and Building Code of Australia and any relevant regulation would be an advantageExperience in the processing of planning and building applications.
