The RoleLocated within the Administration compliance function of Australian Defence Force Warfare Training Centre (ADFWTC). The APS 3 Training Coordination and Administration Officer is accountable to the APS 6 Training co-ordination lead to perform moderately complex human resources and workforce training associated work within an integrated workforce. In this role, you will be accountable for basic administration function and an understanding of PMKeys will be a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks and office support functions, including greeting visitors, receiving phone calls, managing emails and general correspondence including calendar management, booking of training rooms, accommodation and the ordering of stationery. You will ensure the co-ordination of building maintenance issues and be available to escort stakeholders and visitors around the facility.About our TeamThe Australian Defence Force Warfare Training Centre (ADFWTC), located on RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle, NSW, is responsible for the provision of Joint individual planning training for the Australian Defence Organisation (ADO), Other Government Agencies and selected foreign students. The ADFWTC also assists with the training of Joint headquarters staff for operations and is structured to provide job-specific training in the concepts of joint warfare. Normally 20 courses are run training up to one thousand students per year. Our Ideal CandidateThe APS3 Training Coordination and Administration Officer (TCAO) in the Training Coordination Team will be required to perform human resource and workforce training administration functions, and provide administrative support to ADFWTC Command team. The role consists predominantly of routine administration tasks, conducted as required. The ideal candidate would have experience with the Objective Navigator Database, Records Management, PMKeyS system and Training Module Administration Functions. Good written and verbal communication skills are key.
