Business Analysis - Senior Specialist Marsh Description: Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Sydney or Melbourne office Senior Business Analyst - 12 month Fixed Term Contract What can you expect? We are seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with key stakeholders from various business segments as well as the Operations teams (onshore and offshore) to provide a baseline of current state volumetrics on processes and operational activities. The analyst will be responsible for eliciting and understanding core processes across both Marsh and Honan, systems currently in use and key activities carried out across multiple roles. With this understanding the role will assist in formulating a view of the key activities, the estimated workforce and the transition plan that would be required to align these activities into the existing Target Operating Model within Marsh. We will count on you to: The BA can provide valuable input in understanding the "To Be" state and the steps needed to get there both from a development and process perspective. A lot of the early up front analysis work would be carried out by the BA and then presented back to the Business Leaders to summarise key findings and proposed next steps. Strong attention to detail. 5+ years in a similar role within the insurance/operations & technology industry. Established and productive professional individual contributor. Ability to work as a self-starter and as part of a small team to contribute to the project's success. Previous experience of working within a change management environment role. Confidence liaising with internal stakeholders. Able to cope with high demand required by stakeholders. Willingness to challenge current state processes and proposing new ways of working to uncover additional opportunities for efficiency gains. Experience in transformational change and organisational integration resulting frompany acquisitions and/or strategic implementations. Excellent Microsoft Office product knowledge including Visio. Proven history of working within a standard framework of delivery. Proven experience of for creating andmunicating visual models/diagrams of business or organizational processes. Previous experience of working within the rigours of a structured project management environment. What you need to have: Degree educated. BA Certificate. Experience of Software Development Lifecycle, particularly Agile Scrum. Process efficiency related training/certifications ( Six Sigma).
