The Principal Funding Officer key responsibilities are:• Support the funding administration processes, practices and systems for the EPCS program that ensure compliance with the Financial Accountability Act 2009 (FAA)• Coordinate the administration of approvals, payments, recording, monitoring, reconciling, and reporting of funding paid to NGOs under the Community Services Act 2007 (CSA).• Oversee the budget management of the EPCS funding program, including coordination of financial and non-financial reports to update demand and provide analysis and interpretation of program delivery data and to ensure proper acquittal offunding by service providers.• Liaise with service providers, regional staff and program staff in the analysis of financial records and details of client movements and payments and seek the resolution of any outstanding requirements collaboratively with program and contractmanagement staff.• Coordinate the checking and maintaining of registers of various sources of data (such as care pay, service provider expenditure) to ensure accuracy of payments and acquittal.• Provide support and assistance to program and contract management staff and NGOs to achieve sound financial management and forecasting of the EPCS program.• Provide advice, information and support to senior officers on funding administration management issues related to the program.• Assist in the preparation of authoritative reports, audits, documents, presentations, executive briefs and correspondence as required.• Liaise, consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders Applications to remain current for 12 months.
