Senior Commercial Analyst - Amaysim

Your day in the life at amaysim Managing the monthly P&L variance analysis for revenue and margin, as well as non-financial KPIs including ARPU, customer base and churn. Preparing annual budgets and ongoing forecasts for revenue, cost of sales, and customer metrics and collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including the Senior Leadership Team. Analysis of key insights from internal and external sources and competitor changes to help in the development and substantiation of key recommendations for decision making purposes. Structure, developing and maintaining complex financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business casing of new products and product features, and strategic initiatives. Must be able to clearly and proficiently communicate methodology, assumptions, and key insights to executive level stakeholders. Maintaining and updating Product Economics model on a quarterly basis or as needed by the business and working with the Optus Commercial Evaluation team to ensure alignment. Providing insights and commercial analysis of promotional and tactical offers to drive and maintain profitability of the business. What makes you perfect for the role? Proven experience in a commercial finance role with responsibilities in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Strong experience in business casing and financial modelling involving strategic initiatives. Minimum of 5-6 years of commercial/Finance experience. Proven business partnering experience with deep relationship management ability. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or Finance is essential and working towards CA/ CPA is highly desirable. Critical thinking and solutions focused with a strong commercial approach. You have strong communication skills in verbal and written with the ability to present effectively to SLT. The good stuff...
