Job description Facilities Management AssistantLocation - PerthDuration - Temporary ongoing up to 12 months initiallyHours of work are 37 per week - 8.15am - 4.45pm Monday to Thursday (30 minute unpaid break) and 8.15am to 1.15pm on a Friday.Rate of pay - £12.50 per hourOur client currently has a requirement for a Facilities Management Assistant to carry out maintenance activities in and around their site in line with business requirements, ensuring it is in good working order and ensuring a safe environment for all staff, visitors and contractors. This role would suit an individual with good practical skills; painting and decorating, woodwork and basic mechanical skills. You will be willing and able to pass on the job training for Counterbalance Forklift License and MEWP License - training provided by our client.Your primary area of responsibility will be:To carry out general maintenance activities in and around site in line with business requirements.General janitorial dutiesCleaning of key safety equipment - fire extinguishers, fire exit signage and keep clear waysCleaning and painting of factory surfaces as requiredOperate cleaning machines - ride on floor scrubber, hoover, leaf vacuum, etcEmptying of skips, scrap bags, recycling bins, cardboard balingEmptying of settlement tanksSpecific hygiene tasks including cleaning canteen fridges, first aid room, operate sanitising machine as requiredImplement improvements with direction from Line ManagerTo actively engage in the Company's Safety-First culture.
