Join our dynamic team as a Digital Curation and Preservation Specialist! Here at the University of Melbourne, you'll collaborate closely with a dedicated group within the Digital Stewardship (Research) team to enhance our digital preservation capabilities across various initiatives. Your role will involve developing and maintaining these services and actively contributing to the growth and improvement of our digital repository capabilities. From research data management to preserving significant cultural and historical collections, your work will be instrumental in ensuring the longevity and accessibility of our digital assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing, overseeing, and enhancing digital curation and preservation capability programs, including stakeholder, staff, and researcher training initiatives. 

Advising on, developing, and maintaining policies, workflows, and documentation supporting the preservation of the University's digital assets. 

Managing the daily operations of the digital preservation repository, ensuring efficient processes and monitoring for effectiveness.
