The ICT Procurement Specialist will be working within a multi-disciplinary project teams as well as BAU to support a wide range of procurement processes and requirements. The role will undertake a range of procurements from routine sourcing through to complex procurements that may include proof of concepts and project orientated scopes as well is including contemporary procurement methodologies such as interactive workshopping. Key Responsibilities: * Provide strategic, tactical procurement support to the projects. * Engage with stakeholders to develop and refine requirements for procurement * Contribute to the effective delivery of Procurement projects by providing: Authoritative advice and direction in relation to procurement to ensure maximum value and benefit from supplier relationships; Compliance with the department procurement policy and procedures Authoritative advice of Queensland Procurement Policies * Develop procurement documentation including invitation documents, process and financial approval documents * Manage the approval processes for release of invitations to market and engagement of successful vendors * Manage invitation release and all communication with proponents during a procurement process * Development and negotiation of contracts, including liaising with legal support where required * Working with shared email accounts and communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders * Document and information management for procurement processes including electronic and physical filing * Maintain Excel and procurement systems to track procurement status * Continuously monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the procurement processes * Assist in ensuring the quality assurance processes for procurement processes, including due diligence, research, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and implementation of action plans Key Requirements: Demonstrated experience in working in an environment that is dynamic and be resilient in adapting to changing demands and matrix reporting structures. Demonstrated experience in engaging with stakeholders to develop requirements for a procurement invitation, drive and manage approval processes and to communicate the status of the procurements under management. A deep understanding of the QITC framework is required for SOAs, Comprehensive Contracts and General Contracts.
