What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller this new role is focused on overseeing the financial results of the Group's Lottery Retailing operations and providing high-quality reporting, planning and analysis to support the achievement of Jumbo's business objectives. The role is critical in supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO and will work closely with Operations and the General Manager of Lottery Retailing.

As part of your role, you will:

Overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly processes of the finance function for Lottery RetailingPreparing month-end results for the Australian and Pacific Island businessesEnsuring a smooth process of customer prize and account balance withdrawalsInvestigating and implementing methods to improve the automation of daily processesWorking with the Operations team to ensure alignment of arrangements with partnersEnsure the integrity of the customer account balances with the bank accountsReconciling the weekly cost of ticket purchasesLiaise with our charity partners to ensure transparent draw processesAssisting FC with the annual audit and half-year reviews, including collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial data and preparing reportsWork with the Finance team to establish strategies to manage risks and to ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislationWhat are we looking for?

Professional Qualification, CPA, ACCA or equivalentKnowledge of accounting/financial/operational reporting principles, including a background working in financial auditsBackground working in developing financial and operational reports and metricsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels,Ability to manage many tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment,Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage many competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture,Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communicationDemonstrated ability to drive projects across an organisation effectivelyIdeally, You Can Also Bring:

7+ years of post-professional qualification experienceExperience across multi-business environmentsLeadership and/or development/change of a finance function within an operating businessPrevious experience in financial reporting / FP&A teamsSalary:$150,000 - $160,000+Super
