The Role: Reporting to the CDC NSW Chief Executive Officer and being part of the CDC NSW leadership team, the General Manager - Asset Management will oversee the development of asset management plans and strategies, maintenance delivery, supplier engagement and contract management.

Key Performance Requirements and Duties: Development of the Asset Management Strategy and Annual Work PlansDevelop and implement strategy, standards and policy for the execution of asset management activities.Ensure all assets are maintained, and asset management activities are conducted, in accordance with legal, statutory and ISO 55001 compliance requirements.In line with ISO5501 principles monitor asset condition and instigate maintenance program refinements that will optimise whole of life asset valueManage the Capex and Opex budget and instigate optimisation on a continuing basis.Manage the transition to Zero Emission Buses, including managing the depot enabling works.Principle point-of-contact and engagement for Asset ManagementTimely delivery of accurate reporting in line with contractual requirementsOversee the engagement of suppliers and the management of supplier contracts.About You: A senior leader with demonstrated Asset Management experience in a complex or high-risk industry.Degree level qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in the development and management of asset management systems and processes.Ideally, experience of implementing and maintaining ISO55001Experience in planning and leading significant change initiatives and business improvement programs.Exceptional leadership. communication and interpersonal abilitiesCDCNSW is committed to achieving a diverse workforce and we encourage applications from all diversity groups and ages such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTI, people with disabilities, religious beliefs and ethnicity.Experience in the Australian Defence Force will be highly regarded.
