This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the growing Audit department. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Audit and will have the chance to work both closely with clients (on location). What you'll do:
As an External Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting smaller independent audits, collaborating with your team on larger engagements, and ensuring compliance with AASB standards. You will engage with a diverse range of clients across various industries, demonstrating professionalism at all times. Your role will also involve office-based tasks such as report preparation and team collaboration. This role offers a unique blend of on-site and off-site work, providing variety and challenge.
Independently perform audits for smaller engagements, from planning to final reporting stagesWork collaboratively with the audit team to execute audits of larger engagementsReview Financial Reports to ensure they are AASB compliantEngage with a diverse range of clients across various industriesPerform audit work at client premises in a professional demeanourPerform office-based tasks such as audits, report preparation and team collaboration What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this External Auditor position brings at least two years of external audit experience. You are either CA or CPA qualified or currently working towards this qualification. Experience with CaseWare Cloud, Xero and MYOB would be advantageous. As this role involves some travel, a valid driver's licence is required. You are committed, cooperative, considerate and bring a high level of interpersonal skills.
