Data Governance Analyst

One of Melbourne's top Tech companies is looking to add a Data Governance Analyst to their team on a Contract basis. This will be an initial 6 Month contract with a scope for multiple extensions. The organisation puts data and customer needs at the center of everything they do so this role is vitally important for the business.

Contract length: 6 Months+

Rate: $900-$950 per day Including Super

Hybrid Working: 2x days in office (CBD location), 3x days from home 

Responsibilities:

Data Governance Analyst will assist the Data Governance team in formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards. You will play a key role in supporting Data Stewards and working with stakeholders to identify and document various aspects of the Data Quality framework to realise ongoing

benefits of data governance in the data eco-system.

Data Management

Help define the Data Life-Cycle management processes  Provide subject matter expertise with respect to all facets of data management. Data Quality

Work with business stakeholder across various data domains to identify and document Critical Data Elements and baseline DQ requirements. Assist with defining of the Data Quality Issue Management process Collaborating with the business in defining indicators of performance and quality metrics What you'll bring:  Experience in working within Data Governance and Management frameworks Data Governance experience, particularly policy writing, process definition Experience in implementing and administering successful data governance business models at departmental or enterprise level Desired understanding of meta-data management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms Solid understanding of DAMA BoK or similar frameworks ** YOU MUST BE BASED IN MELBOURNE AND HAVE WORKING RIGHTS TO APPLY **  Any questions, contact me on - ******
