Product Manager

This is an exciting 12-month opportunity to join a global team and to stamp your thoughts and ideas for product management in the Southern Hemisphere. Your brief has a regional requirement to understand our customer needs for network structured cabling. You will be initially working alongside our senior product manager managing on product development life cycle and executing on the business plans.

Key goals include managing the legacy customer quote tool and project managing the team to develop its replacement. Additional you will be identifying market opportunities through research and collaborating with local sales to support their business plan. Then taking these opportunities to delivery timely product introductions by coordinating a range of departmental teams, from technical, supply chain to manufacturing.

What You Will Do An important aspect of the role will be to understand and manage the company's existing customer quote tool, and to support in the management of its replacement. You will be supported by our senior product manager before their extended leave of absence. As a product manager you will be responsible for leading the execution of a product roadmap for structured cabling features and contribute to the development lifecycle and continual improvement of the business. Bring key business skills to enable monitoring, planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time, in budget, and within the defined scope. Tracks status and manage teams to mitigate issues and risks. Define, analyses and communicate commercial product metrics thereby capturing product profitability, trends, along with recommendations. Support and advice to other product team members, which involves organizing product weekly/monthly reviews across multiple time zones. A key regional focus will be supporting Australia, with additional support for South Africa. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) You will be based in Australia, ideally Victoria, operating a hybrid work pattern from home and our Cobblebank office. It is helpful to have some experience within our technology sector for IT network connectivity, but not essential. Proficiency in MS Excel along with Excel macros and database interaction is important. Ex perience as a product manager or working today in a technical role and now looking to develop their product manager experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field, other relevant experience will be considered. A good command of English, both written and verbal is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact across all levels of the organization. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
