THE ROLE

The Senior Psychologist role is a leadership position responsible for the development and provision of clinical supervision and training services primarily for the clinical staff at the Forensic Disability Clinical Services (FDCS) and more broadly to the staff of Forensic Disability Services. The position supports the four FDCS teams, reporting to the Manager of the FDCS, the Clinical Supervisor will provide individual and group supervision and mentoring to clinical staff and placement students requiring additional support.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

Provide focused, evidence-based individual and group supervision to FDCS staff ensuring compliance with ethical codes and professional standards.Shadow staff when conducting intervention sessions and provide subsequent feedback to ensure clinical competency across the teamThis role should work collaboratively with the FDCS leadership team to identify training and workforce development initiatives for the team. Complete regular auditing of work (including reports, support plans and case notes) of the clinical team to ensure the team are adhering to the code of conduct and time frames stated within the practice instructions Please open the position description to read more.
