The role is responsible for collating data, complex analysis in Excel and Access databases, and reporting on carbon emissions and asset performance. This role will contribute to the strategic work Victoria Police is undertaking to manage its significant asset base, to reduce carbon emissions and to improve asset resilience to climate change.

The role offers the candidates an opportunity in asset management within Victorian Police where they can contribute their well-developed data analysis, data management skills, and stakeholder management skills.

Your duties will include: Maintaining the asset and environmental databases and systems that record Victoria Police energy use data that is input for Financial Reporting Direction (FRD)24 Environmental Reporting. Identifying and addressing data gaps in the FRD 24 Environmental Reporting, within the authority of the role. Coordinating the preparation of the FRD 24 Environmental Reporting. Maintaining and as required building database programming using MS Access and MS Excel. Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships with data suppliers within and external to Victoria Police. Coordinating the preparation of the annual asset assessment program, including the completion of the annual asset assessment spreadsheets, with input from a range of asset management areas within Victoria Police. Ensuring data quality and reporting is maintained and improved over time. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated experience maintaining databases and systems that you can apply to asset and environmental databases that record Victoria Police energy use, to input for Financial Reporting Direction (FRD) 24 Environmental Reporting. The ability to identify and address data gaps in environmental reporting, within the authority of the role. Skills in coordinating stakeholders and large amounts of data, to apply to the preparation of the: FRD 24 Environmental Reporting, and annual asset assessment spreadsheets Database programming skills using MS Excel, and desirably MS Access. Effective stakeholder management skills, including to manage data suppliers external to Victoria Police, who provide input data for the databases. Experience in data quality management and reporting, to enable continuous improvement over time.
