Where and how you can work Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home, or a bit of both, it's up to you.

What you'd be doing in this role The mission of the Operational Business Partner is to support group leadership, coordinate special projects and drive them to unilateral success by coordinating and communicating between key project owners. Working with leadership, you will be the organiser and look after all things operations for the group.

Using your experience with program/project management, administration, and relationship-building you will work with cross-functional teams and working groups to help Canva to achieve the level of operational efficiency, cooperation & collaboration that our front-line teams need to hit our goals.

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

Overseeing specialty programs of worksuch as;a Design LeadershipL&D Program, skilled volunteering and the design mentorship program - which all ensure our design coaches/leadershave resources available to enable them to be the best coaches Jumping into special projects and strategies as needed and leaning in to support our Head of Design and their leadership team with key strategic initiatives, such as our recently launched Design Surfaces Podcast series. Driving forward our social and connection program - so that we're building and nurturing a creative, collective culture in all our hubs Supporting on design specialitycadences including leading and organising large onsites, workshops and celebrations Supporting across headcount processes, audit and actions, alongside the Design Lead and our People Partners. Reviewing all current information storage and knowledge sharing setups and providing recommendations on how this can be improved for the benefit of the Design speciality. You're probably a match if You are able to apply a strategic lense to large cross functional programs of work, and can confidently make decisions on the next best action andguide and lead our leaders on key prioritisation. You have exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written, and the confidence/gravitas to succinctly communicate with our Founder team and other influential senior stakeholders across the business. You have experience prioritising, managing and tracking multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment You're comfortable in the grey - and can take an ambiguous project and build a logical and structured game plan, driving it to execution. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong desire to uphold high standards of excellence You ideally have event planning experience (not a dealbreaker if you don't) You are processes and efficiency-oriented You are a doer and you enjoy getting things done, at pace and whilst juggling multiple priorities You work well in a collaborative team and have the confidence to seek out help as you need it, create a community of support around you and build relationships cross functionally. About the team The Design Specialty consists of close to 700 Canvanauts, spread across 11 countries and 3 practice areas - Product Design, Visual Design & Brand Creation. This role will see you will working to build solid operational excellence and embed this in everything we do - steering Canva towards growth and success for years to come!

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to Canva's global mission to empower the whole world to design and do the most good possible.

This role sits within our Operations specialty, which is dispersed throughout Canva, supporting our functions to deliver on their crazy big goals. The team is on a mission to build and optimise ways of working to empower Canvanauts around the world. Our Operations Business Partners support the operational cadences and goal delivery of our groups, while our Admin Business Partners focus on unlocking the capacity of Canva's Leaders by taking all administrative support.
