Utilise your Solar & Wind Energy expertise as a Senior Renewable Engineer, supporting our Renewables team from WSP's Perth office. Lead, manage and provide technical oversight/excellence in the provision of due diligence, Lender and Owner's Engineer services.

What you'll do: Drafting and negotiating specifications and technical schedules for contractsAssessing EPC tenders and negotiating with tendersLeading technical due diligence of projectsProject ManagementSite inspections and construction compliance and progress monitoringContractor payment claim review and certificationWriting and reviewing technical reportsEstablishing/consolidating a strong internal network of supporting resources in each discipline and state to support this workSupporting team development including providing leadership and training to junior staff, and using your knowledge base to support the broader WSP businessBusiness development, including bid leadership, building industry relationships and presenting at conferencesProactively meet with key clients to build trusted advisor relationshipsLeading and preparing successful multidisciplinary bids and proposalsAbout you: Renewable Energy or Engineering Bachelor's degree with proven experience in solar &/or wind energy projectsA background working in professional services consultingExperience working on or providing services to utility scale renewable energy projects in AustraliaCivil Engineer with site experience and/or contract administration/superintendent an advantageUnderstanding of renewable energy project development and constructionExperience reviewing / preparing technical reports, specificationsProven due diligence experience in relation to project management, developing procedures, reporting and technical review.Contract certifier/superintendent/principal's representative experience an advantageFamiliarity with construction and O&M ContractsStrong communication skills to provide a high standard of written communication for written deliverables to clients, etc.Conducting wind farm/construction site inspections for compliance with design and local standards, progress monitoring and milestone certification is beneficialDemonstrated ability to communicate industry jargon to those outside of the industryAbout WSP WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms, bringing together approximately 5,000 talented people across 14 offices in Australia.
