About the PositionWe specialize in the technical manufacture and assembly of steel components for the industrial and government sectors. In this position you will be required to coordinate between operations and project management, while meeting the client's expectations. You will need to provide regular updates to the senior management team regarding project progress, cost, budget and scheduling for all projects. Further duties include:
Liaising with suppliers on item details and pricingRaising Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with supplier quotationsOrdering materials, and coordinate deliveries with OperationsEnsure that the relevant engineering standards are adhered to, including material specificationsKeeping track of project budgets and inform operations manager on progressionTechnical documentation writing including but not limited to MDRs, ITPs, safety manual, etc.About YouThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, working in a project-based environment. Further to this, the ideal candidate will have:
