About the role:

Reporting to the GM of Planning, this role will require that you will have great communication skills and be an analytical thinker to assist and support the buying team to deliver your departments strategic and performance objectives, whilst also mentoring and developing your allocator.



What You Will Be Doing: Build financial targets that support overall business requirementsExecute post seasonal and strategic plans on a half yearly basis with the buyer aligned to company strategy and objectivesDevelop options plans that deliver the strategic plans in a timely mannerAnalyse and manage margin mix through stock turn, GMROI, assortment mix, markdown program and marketing program in consultation with the buyer to deliver financial targetsWork with buyers to ensure promotional activity delivers the financial planReview merchandise and financial performance weekly with buyer and agree on forward actions to deliver financial targetsMonthly in season review of department performance with senior leadership teamIn conjunction with the buyer, ensure the best end cost to the business for the delivery of productEstablish and manage item plans for imports and local ongoing lines, to effectively manage stock flow to stores and optimise inventory investment to DC and StoresDetermine and maintain replenishment parameters managed to optimise inventory in core productsCoach, guide and develop your allocator in line with business goalsEnsure adherence to allocation guidelines and principles to manage stock to sales ratio, individual store forward weeks cover, stock turn, GMROI and return on floor space  About You:  Must have 3 years of Planning experience within the retail space, preferably with an apparel backgroundMust have advanced Excel skillsSAP and Micro Strategies experience will be highly regardedStrong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise and high attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills Perks:  A competitive salary and access to a lucrative profit share incentive programInner Melbourne location Career opportunities and training to further your developmentTeam discounts across all brands Great work-life balance!Be part of a high performing, values based team If this sounds like you, please click apply or reach out to Marley Paulzen; ******  For a full list of vacancies, please head to jivaro.com.au All applications are confidential #J-18808-Ljbffr
